I need to find the news accounts relating to this! All in the papers in the 80's. Mayor Barry's third wife was Effi Barry. Actually I always liked Effi (who died much too young in 2007). Effi Barry was a fellow student in my "off campus" John's Hopkins Biostatistics Class where we were both taking courses towards an MPH. She was doing great work with public health programs including AIDS awarenesses, funding, etc.
